TERMS AND CONDITIONS

The booking terms and conditions are to be read in conjunction with a valid price list, specifying services and prices.

  1. ORGANISERS

In Ireland, the United Kingdom and Malta, the Language Course is organized by: Angloville International Limited, incorporated in Ireland, Company number: 596977 , Company Address: St Mary College Languages dept, Emmet Pl, Youghal, Co. Cork, Ireland.

The Organiser of the Language Course is also referred to as “School” or “Organisers”.

All Students or their legal guardians must familiarize themselves with present Terms and Conditions and send a scan of a signed and dated copy of the Terms and Conditions to an Angloville representative before their reservation can be confirmed.

By paying either a deposit or full fees, the Student confirms that he or she has read, understood and agree to the following conditions.

All terms and conditions are applicable to “direct students” and “agents” unless variations are agreed between the agent and The Organisers in a separate agreement in writing which must be signed by all parties and dated and returned to the Organisers.

“Direct Students” – EU citizens, minors and adults, using the Angloville language education service.

“Agent” – a company or person, reselling or promoting Angloville services to third parties under a separate legal agreement with Angloville.

  1. ENROLEMENT

To register for a course, the Student (if aged 18 or more) or the Student’s representative in law (if aged under 18) must complete the Enrolment Form online at www.angloville.fr.

The Student will in turn receive written confirmation of their booking and a pro-forma invoice for the fees.

  1. FEES

3.1. All fees must be paid to the School before the start of the programme. The School will not admit a Student who did not issue a full payment before the programme. 

3.2. DEPOSIT AND COURSE FEE: STUDENTS REQUIRING A VISA

  1. In accordance with EU Immigration guidelines, the Organisers require payment of all fees in full prior to issuing a visa letter. Courier fees are paid additionally by the student.
  2. A fixed fee deposit of 25% of full Course fee of the chosen Course must be paid to the School immediately upon booking within 5 working days. Payment must include all extra bank transfer charges (including intermediary bank charges if applicable). The Organisers reserve the right to cancel the reservation if payment is not sent to them within 5 working days. Bank account details will be provided to the Student in the email confirming the booking.
  3. Deposit is fully refundable within the period of up to 90 days before the start date of the selected course (the Student or the Student’s representative in law covers all the bank charges). In the period of less than 90 days until the beginning date of the course, the deposit is not refundable. However, the Student or Student’s representative in law may find a replacement Student who will take over his or her rights and obligations under these Terms and Conditions (provided that the replacement Student meets the age criteria for the selected Course, the minimum language requirements and possesses a valid EU visa if required). The replacement may occur no later than 7 days before the start of the selected Course and must be communicated to and confirmed by an Angloville representative, whose contact details are included in paragraph 12. There is a €100 (one hundred Euro) extra registration fee that the replacement Student will need to cover to be enrolled in the Course. This €100 (one hundred Euro) extra fee must be lodged into Angloville bank account prior to commencement date of the Course.
  4. The remaining Course fee needs to be paid in full to the School no later than 60 days before the course start date or before the visa documents, if applicable, are requested to be issued – whatever occurs earlier.
  5. If the remaining course fee remains unpaid in full to the School within the proposed timeframe the School will not be able to admit the student to the Course and the deposit will not be returned.

3.3. DEPOSIT AND COURSE FEE: STUDENTS WHO DO NOT REQUIRE A VISA

  1. A fixed fee deposit of 25 % of full Course fee of the chosen Course must be paid to the School immediately upon booking within 5 working days. The Organisers reserve the right to cancel the reservation if payment is not sent to them within 5 working days.
  2. Deposit is fully refundable within the period of up to 90 days before the start of the selected course (the Student or the student’s representative in law covers all the bank charges). In the period of less than 90 days until the date of the beginning of the course, the deposit is not refundable. However, the Student or Student’s representative in law may find a replacement Student who will take over his or her rights and obligations under these Terms and Conditions (provided that the replacement Student meets the age criteria for the selected Course, the minimum language requirements and possesses a valid EU visa). 3.4. PAYMENTS

All payments must be made electronically in EUR via a link provided by the Organisers in the confirmation email. The payment system, supporting Course payments is owned and operated by Six Payment     Systems, Hardturmstrasse        201, Postfach, Zurich, 8021 Switzerland. Detailed Terms and Conditions of the Payment System Service can be found on Provider’s website: www.six–payment–services.com.

Payments must include all extra bank transfer charges applied during the transaction (including intermediary bank charges if applicable).

Arrival details and transfer bookings will not be released or forwarded to the Student or the Student’s representative in law until the full payment has been received.

In the case of late bookings under 60 days before the start of the course, the Student should pay the full fee immediately with his or her enrolment form in order to secure a place on the course. Student’s reservation can only be guaranteed upon receipt of the full course fee by Angloville.

A verification email will be sent to the Student or the student’s representative in law or their agent once the Student has been accepted onto the Course and payment received.

3.5 PRICE LIST

All current prices are listed on www.angloville.fr website and are confirmed by the Organisers in the reservation email.

  1. REQUIREMENTS


4.1 VISA

  1. Students are responsible for fully complying with all requirements of the Immigration Authorities in the country of arrival both before and during their stay in their chosen country. If the Student fails to comply with these requirements and is expelled from the country, he or she will not be entitled to any refund of fees paid to Angloville.
  2. Visa advice can only be given by the appropriate Embassy or Consulate. Students should contact their local Embassy or Consulate to ensure they are allowed to enter and study in their chosen location. Students must maintain a valid visa status and their course will be terminated in the event that their visa is no longer valid. It is the sole responsibility of the student or student’s representative in law to ensure that the most updated relevant regulations / processes are being followed correctly.
  3. Students must notify the School immediately in the case of refusal or any changes to their status.
  4. If a Student fails to obtain his or her visa, the Student will receive a refund of the total amount paid (with bank charges deducted) after the School receives written documentation from the consulate of the Student’s visa denial, unless the visa was refused through the student’s own doing, missing documentation or other acts of negligence.

4.2. AGE

The minimum age required to participate in Junior programmes is 12 years of age. Students must have reached the age of 12 before the course commencement date. Birth certificates may be required as proof. The maximum age is 18. Parents or legal guardians of Students under 18 should read our parental info sheet, and are required to send us the completed consent form before the Student’s arrival date. Please contact us for details.

The minimum age for Adult programmes is 18 years old and there is no maximum age limit. Students must have reached the age of 18 before the course commencement date. Birth certificates may be required as proof. Please note that the School does not provide supervision for students who book an adult course.

4.3. DOCUMENTS

  1. All minor participants of Angloville Junior programmes may be required to provide additional documents required by the local law of the country where the course is held, which will be filled in and signed by their representatives in law (parent of legal guardian) and provided to the Organisers no later than 14 days before the start of the chosen programme.
  2. Failure to provide the legally required information on a signed document may result in Student’s ineligibility by law to participate in a study programme, their repatriation on own cost, and no entitlement to any refund.

4.4. LEVEL OF ENGLISH

The student by submitting the application to the Course fully understands that Angloville teaching methods require a pre-intermediate level of English (B1) as a minimum. This will be evaluated through one of our Online Tests provided by Oxford University. Eligibility is assessed jointly with the client. No refunds can be given if any portion of the course is unused by the student due to an insufficient level of English. For students with lower command of English, evaluation of eligibility to participate will be on a case to case basis. Eligibility is assessed jointly with the client.

4.5. ATTENDANCE

 The Organisers requires all students to attend every class in their course. If students are persistently late or absent, it may result in expulsion from the Course. The Organisers may be required to contact the student’s fee payer or financial sponsor if disciplinary measures are introduced. 

4.6. CONDUCT AND EXPULSION

  1. The school will not accept: poor attendance; disrespect to members of staff or other students; foul, inappropriate or abusive language; violence; intimidating or insulting behaviour; bullying; any form of discrimination (including but not limited to discrimination based on race, gender, age, disability, religious beliefs or sexuality); or any other act or behaviour that does or may bring the Organisers into disrepute or cause any harm or suffering to staff, other students or members of the public.
  2. If the student fails to meet the School’s minimum conduct requirements, the student may be expelled. The School may also take any further action if appropriate including informing the appropriate Immigration Authorities and, if the student is under 18 years of age, their parent(s) or guardian.
  3. Students may only use School’s computers and internet access provided by School’s partners in accordance with our instructions and applicable codes of conduct. Computers or internet access may not be used for any illegal or unauthorised purposes (including accessing pornographic, obscene or illegal material) or for any commercial purposes.
  4. In the event of expulsion due to inappropriate conduct, there will be no refund of unused tuition fees. Repatriation is at the student’s own expense.

4.7. INSURANCE

Students must have adequate health, accident and travel insurance while attending a course at Angloville. Students must provide proof of adequate cover at enrolment. Uninsured students may not attend class until proof of insurance is available, and will not be refunded for lost class time. EU students are required to obtain a European Health Insurance card from their local health authority.

4.8. MEDICAL INFORMATION 

  1. The Student or their legal guardian hereby confirms that the Student does not suffer from any medical conditions preventing him / her from attending and completing the programme. Angloville must be provided with any specific medical information, which applies to the student on a student enrollment form. Students must inform to the Organisers of any mental or physical condition, allergy, or disability that may interfere with the completion of their course, affect the health and well-­being of others or require special accommodation or treatment. Angloville will not be legally responsible in case of any misrepresentation or omission of relevant information on the student’s part. Decisions as to whether the Organisers are able to accommodate a participant with specific needs will be dealt with on the student enrolment form.
  2. In order to assist disabled students the School must, at the time of booking, be provided in writing with full details regarding any disability and any special requirements as a result of it.

4.9. LIABILITY

Angloville will not be held liable for loss, damage or injury caused by any type of incidents between students or their property, by students to the university property, by students to third parties or their property or by students to staff of Angloville or their property unless in situations where imposed by law is mandatory.

4.10. DAMAGE TO PROPERTY

Students or their legal guardians (for underage Students) must pay the full cost of any damage the Student causes to Organiser’s or Organiser’s Partners’s property. Organiser’s Partners are defined here as board and lodging, transportation and travel providers during the duration of the Course.

Damage deposit may apply in certain residences, to be paid upon arrival.

If the Student loses their key, they will be charged extra to cover the cost of replacement.

4.11. EXPULSION

The Organisers reserve the right to expel students for unacceptable behaviour including, but not limited to, possession or consumption of illegal drugs, consumption or being under influence of alcohol (during class hours – for adult students, and at all times – for underage students), smoking in restricted areas, malicious damage to Organisers’ or their Partners’ property or place of accommodation, threatening other students’ safety, breaking local law, repeatedly omitting classes, leaving the group without a Supervisor’s consent (in case of minor Students), and not respecting curfew times. No refund will be given. Repatriation is at students’ own expense.

  1. COURSE INFORMATION


5.1. CLASS INFORMATION

Courses run according to a fixed programme timetable. Changes to the timetable may occur.

5.2. ACCOMMODATION

Check-in time for accommodation normally starts from 14.00 on the arrival date. Check-out time is determined by each venue and is typically at 11.00 on the last day of the programme.

5.3  ON-SITE COODINATORS

Angloville programme coordinators are present on-site to provide and facilitate a safe learning experience to the Students.  It is therefore required that the Students obey the rules, regulations and recommendations proposed by the Coordinators especially related to health and safety.

The organisers make it possible for the parents or legal guardians of minor students to contact the on-site coordinators during the duration of the programme at any given time.  Contact details will be provided to the parents or legal guardians by correspondence before the course.

5.4. UNACCOMPANIED MINORS

Students travelling as unaccompanied minors require an Organiser’s representative to provide an additional service upon arrival and departure. There is an extra surcharge for this service to be confirmed in the booking process. Please advise the Organisers at the time of booking if the student will be travelling as an unaccompanied minor.

5.5. TRANSFERS

Organisers can arrange transfers to and from the Programme venue and the airports listed in the pricelist, which also lists the charges for transfers.

  1. Students or the Student’s representative in law must let the Organisers know if they would like the Organisers to arrange an airport transfer at least 7 days before their flight by providing details of their flight, arrival airport, arrival time, flight number, airline and point of origin. They must also let the Organisers know if any of this information changes. If the Students or the Student’s representative in law do not provide the Organisers with this information, the Organisers may be unable to arrange their transfer, and no refund will be given for the transfer fee.
  2. If incorrect information is provided by the Student or the Student’s representative in law or the Student misses the flight without informing the Organiser and a transfer is sent to collect the Student, no refund of the transfer fee will be granted.
  3. Transfers will only be booked upon receipt of full payment to Organisers’ bank account.

5.6. SERVICES

The Organisers reserve the right to change details of its services, including courses, facilities, locations and course dates where circumstances beyond the company’s control necessitate such changes and Students or their legal representatives will be notified of any such changes as soon as possible by email to the appropriate email account provided the registration form.

  1. CANCELLATIONS

6.1. Timely written notification of cancellations must be submitted to the Organisers in order to provide refunds. All approved refunds are made to the original fee payers bank account details as provided within 45 calendar days.

6.2. For cancellations made to the original booking and communicated 90 days or more prior to selected Course start date: deposit and other fees received will be refunded to the original fee payers bank account (bank charges are covered by the Student)

6.3. For students cancelling less than 90 days and more than 60 days prior to selected Course start date, Organisers will refund fees received in full less a nonrefundable deposit and relevant bank charges to the fee payers bank account.

6.4. For students cancelling 60 days and more than 28 days prior to selected Course start date, Organisers will refund fees received less a nonrefundable deposit, relevant bank charges and a cancellation fee equivalent to 30% of the course price to the original fee payers bank account.

6.5. For students cancelling 28 days and more than 14 days prior to selected Course start date, Organisers will refund fees received less a nonrefundable deposit, relevant bank charges and a cancellation fee equivalent to 60% of the course price to the original fee payers bank account.

6.6. Students cancelling 14 days and less prior to the course commencement date will be charged a full fee thus no refund will be made by the Organisers.

6.7. The Student who needs to cancel may find a replacement Student who will take over his rights and obligations under these Terms and Conditions (provided the replacement Student meets the age criteria for the selected Course, proof of age will be required by forwarding a birth certificate, the minimum language requirements per our online test evaluation provided by Oxford University (eligibility is assessed jointly with the client) and possesses a valid EU visa). The change may occur no later than 7 days before the start of the selected Course and must be communicated to and confirmed by an Angloville representative (paragraph 12).  There is a €100 (one hundred Euro) extra registration fee that the replacement Student will need to cover to ensure they will be enrolled in the Course.

6.8. No refunds will be given for unused tuition hours or board and lodging.

6.9. Terms given for cancellation periods are based on the school’s normal working hours (ie 9.00 – 17.30 Monday to Friday). If a cancellation request is received outside normal working hours, the relevant notice period will be counted from the next working day.

6.10. AMENDMENTS

Any changes to bookings are subject to availability on the relevant course and may not be allowed by the School if made less than 60 days prior to the programme. Any additional fees that may be incurred due to any change by the Student or the Student’s representative in law must be paid for in advance of the change being implemented and paid to Angloville bank account. There will be no refunds available to students who wish to change to a course of a lesser value.

  1. FORCE MAJEURE

Organisers will not be responsible for any losses or any costs incurred by or on behalf of the student as a result of causes beyond our reasonable control. Such causes shall include but shall not be limited to riot, war, threat of war, civil strike, industrial dispute, terrorist activity, natural or nuclear disaster, unusually adverse weather conditions and infectious diseases.

  1. PHOTOGRAPHY & FILMING

Organisers may take promotional photographs and video footage of students for promotional purposes only. If students do not wish to participate, the Organisers will respect their wishes but it is students’ responsibility to absent themselves.

  1. RESOLUTION OF DISPUTES

9.1. In the event of a dispute between a student and the school, procedures are in place to facilitate the resolution of the dispute:

  1. Complaints should first be made in writing to the Programme Coordinator, present on-site during the Course.
  2. If the issue is not resolved, the Programme Manager, whose details are listed below, should be informed with no delay during the Course.
  3. If the issue has still not been resolved by the Programme Manager, the student should officially complain in writing to the Angloville Head Office address provided below.
  4. Each complaint will be fully investigated provided that it is received within 14 days of the course ending and all fees have been paid.

    5. The Student or their legal guardian will be sent a written response electronically or by post within 14 days.

10. DATA PROTECTION

In order to deliver education and protect welfare, the Organisers will collect, keep and otherwise process personal data, including sensitive personal data that relates to the student and their circumstances. This will include their name, contact details and where appropriate those of their parents, guardian, agent or sponsor. The Organisers will also keep data about their education, health, welfare, accommodation, travel, passport, visa, finances and fees. The information is kept secure at all times and shall only be held for the purposes as set out above.

  1. AGENTS

All the above terms are applicable to “direct students” and “agents” (as defined in clause 1 page 1) unless variations are expressly agreed in writing between the agent and a representative of Organisers possessing necessary legal authority.

  1. LAW

The present terms and conditions are made in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Ireland. During the duration of the Course, local law of the country where the Course is held always applies.

  1. TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Terms and conditions are subject to change. Please confirm terms and conditions upon booking by sending a scanned signed copy to an Angloville representative (clause 12).

  1. PRIVACY POLICY

We solely collect personal information for the purposes of providing a language education service to our Clients. By providing the information to us you expressly consent to the use of your information in this way. If you wish us to remove your details from our database please email us at info@angloville.fr expressly requesting us to remove your details from our database.

  1. COOLING OFF PERIOD

The right to cancel period is 14 days from the date the contract started under Statutory Instrument No. 484 of 2013 European Union (Consumer Information, Cancellation and Other Rights) but it cannot be cancelled if the service provider has already begun providing the service.
